The Akin Fadeyi Foundation is a Communication for Change Centre driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence, accountability, and social impact. We consistently identify opportunities for change in moments of crisis and transform challenges into learning and advocacy platforms that benefit society.
Founded in 2016 in Abuja, Nigeria, the Foundation has grown into a credible voice for transparency, responsible citizenship, and institutional integrity — partnering with governments, civil society, and international institutions to build a more just society.

Our work develops ideas and interventions that carry everyone along, regardless of race, creed, or gender. Through media, technology, storytelling, and strategic advocacy, we promote transparency, human rights, and responsible citizenship anchored around behavioural change.
The FlagIt App serves as a digital reporting platform for corruption, sexual extortion, official misconduct, domestic violence, cyberbullying, and related human rights concerns — empowering citizens to speak up and demand accountability.
In September 2025, the United States Mission in Nigeria commended the Akin Fadeyi Foundation for its anti-corruption advocacy efforts, particularly the "Corruption, Not In My Country" behavioural change campaign and the innovative FlagIt App — recognising the effective use of technology and storytelling to promote transparency and accountability across communities.
Our impact has been strengthened through strategic collaborations with institutions and stakeholders committed to transparency and justice.
The foundation remains focused on building a society where integrity becomes a social norm and where citizens are equipped to challenge abuse, corruption, and injustice.
